Auditions for Fall Play:
EURYDICE by Sarah Ruhl
Directed by: Jordan Haynes
What is Eurydice?
This play is a modern retelling of the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice from Eurydice's point of view. The script explores Eurydice's journey to the underworld to reconnect with her father where she encounters an array of surreal, mysterious, and sometimes silly characters. It's a play that's both tragic and touching, but it's also funny, and whimsical, and weird. It's awesome.

How do I Audition?
1. Look over all of the sides given below.
2. Pick which character you'd prefer to read for.
3. You do NOT have to memorize any of these parts!
4. Practice reading it aloud and making some choices as the character.
5. Show up and do what you practiced for the director.
*Pro Tip: Try to have fun with this! Acting is an art, not a science. There is no exact right choice or wrong choice in any scene. Whatever you do, just try to commit fully and have a good time!
