Today we discussed the performance final and selected our piece.
Notebooks are due next class. (Friday 11/30/18)
Today, we refreshed ourselves on The Bard! We reviewed his life, his plays, his Globe Theatre, and his Iambic Pentameter. We then translated and performed the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet.

Today, we finished reading A Play Called Noah's Flood and organized our notebooks.
Medieval Theatre Quiz/A Play Called Noah's Flood Part 1
Today, we took a quiz of Medieval Theatre and began reading A Play Called Noah's Flood.
Today, we learned about Medieval Theatre. I will attach the handout we read in class. Students highlighted important facts and then created questions cards for their peers to answer though "Conga Line"
We then read the classic Medieval Theatre Play, "Everyman" by Anonymous.
We reviewed our lesson with a class Kahoot!

Music Moment Before Performance/Reflection
Each actor presented their music moment before. (15 Points) Audience members wrote down their interpretation of each of the 3 scenes. (10 Points)
Homework (Due next class)
On your Moment before paper, write at least 2 paragraphs reflecting on your performance.
Include the following:
3 Glows (What did you feel went well)
3 Grows (What would you change or work on)
How did you feel about this exercise? What did you learn/take away?
Who in your class impressed you the most and why? Give examples.

Music Moment Before Intro
Mr. Cooperescue demonstrated Music Moment Before. Students are tasked to create their own music moment before for next class.
By the end of class, turn in a sheet of paper with your name, song choice, blocking for scene, and story description for 3 moments. Ensure that the moments connect in some way. We will perform next class.
