Trevor Cooperescue is thrilled to be apart the Fayetteville High School Drama Department. This is his twelfth year of teaching theatre. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and a Master of Arts in Teaching. His directing credits include Into the Woods, Oklahoma!, Little Shop of Horrors, The Dumb Waiter, The Glass Menagerie, Steel Magnolias, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Romeo and Juliet, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Baby With The Bathwater, 9 to 5!, First Date, and Clue: On Stage! As an actor, he has appeared in shows such as Our Town, Flloyd Collins, and Cabaret. He was honored with the status of "Passing with Distinction" from the University of Arkansas Drama Department, as well as awarded the MAT Student of the year from the University of Arkansas Graduate Education Program. He currently teaches Theatre I, Theatre II, Theatre III, & Theatre IV. Mr. Cooperescue is currently serving as Fine Arts Chair at FHS, Troupe Director of FHS Thespian Troupe #717 and recently served as an Executive Board Member for Arkansas Thespians the past 4 years. He is happily married with twin boys and is thrilled for this year's season and excited to be back!
