Students rehearsed their One Act for the first half of class.
After rehearsal, students created an account at www.edmodo.com. This website is used for all quizzes and written assignments. Students were assigned to see the FHS Performance of Steel Magnolias for 50 points. Today in class we began working on the written critique of the play. Former FHS Thespian President, Coleman Clark, visted FHS from North Carolina School of the Arts to speak to the class about college audition processes and what college life in an arts school is like.
We began blocking our One Act Plays today. Today, we worked on moment before. Students had to enter the room without speaking, and show us where they came from.
Music Moment exercise was practiced following moment before by having students enter a room to a song that was chosen by Mr. Cooper. They had to enter the room 3 times with 3 different moment before's, showing us a high stake. |
