Today, we had a final rehearsal and then presented our Tartuffe scenes for the class. Students were graded on memorization, character analysis, black dress for performance, and an acting rubric. It was an amazing day of performances by all!
We reviewed Aristotle's Poetics for the written critique over Steel Magnolias. Afterward, we continued to rehearse Tartuffe scenes.
Today, we began blocking our Tartuff scenes and was assigned the character analysis:

Former FHS Thespian President, Coleman Clark, visted FHS from North Carolina School of the Arts to speak to the class about college audition processes and what college life in an arts school is like. Today, we finished watching Tartuffe and selected scenes to work on. Quiz next class. We will present scenes on October 19th!
