Good Morning! I am very sorry I am not here today, but I hope you have a great class and a wonderful weekend! Below is the cast list for our 2 shows! I cast based on your previous monologues and what I felt would create the best ensemble. Remember there is no such things as small parts, only small actors. Both of these plays are super fun and super funny. Take your character and have fun with it. These are short one acts and should not take up too much time. You will only be living with these characters for a few class periods. I am excited and am smiling already thinking about how silly these one acts will be! And yes Erin, I have cast you in both because we are one person shy to fill the cast list...why not be an old lady and a clown? ; ) Here's the cast list:
Character Analysis:
Now that you know your role, please read through the script with your cast. After you have read through, it's time to work on our character analysis. I know this is going to be different and weird being such a short show and odd characters, but it's still possible. 10 Given Circumstances (Use the script OR Infer. Have fun with this. Don't use simple answers like "I'm a boy, I'm 15, I'm a clown) Super Objective Objective for each scene. (This pertains to Bomb Art more, but Elevator has different ones for Instructor and Pregnant Woman) Stakes Obstacles Beats Tactics This is worth 40 points. Please have it completed by Tuesday.
