The Tin Woman Discussion/Glass Menagerie Quote WriteThe Tin Woman Critiques were due today and we discussed the show. We then did a quick write over 3 quotes that ties into Tennessee William's The Glass Menagerie.

Students turned in their grow's and glows for grading. Endgame Performances-1The class took 30 minutes to have a final dress rehearsal for their scene.
Brendan and Chloe's group performed. We did not have time to present a third scene. Assignment: On a sheet of paper, write 3 glows and 3 grows for each scene and share out a comment to the class on observation. Rubric: 3 Glows-6 Points 3 Grows- 6 Points Share- 3 Points Total:15 points per group *Note for next year, we will not have a rehearsal and choose 2 groups to perform twice to have time to critique and go again. Endgame Final Rehearsal:Memorization and Analysis Due!Homework: Scenes begin next week! (4/15 & 4/17)Students are required to attend one of the following performances of The Tin Woman:
April 10th- Free Performance! 5:00pm April 11th-13th at 7:00pm April 14th at 2:00pm. Student Rush Tickets are available 1 hour prior to performances for $5 cash. DUE FRIDAY APril 19th AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS (10% OFF EACH CLASS PERIOD TURNED IN LATE) Write a 3 page paper reviewing FHS's The Tin Woman using Aristotle's Elements of Drama. The paper should have the following: Introduction Paragraph- 5 points Though/Theme-5 points Plot (Brief Summary)-5 points Character (Choose 2 actors to discuss grows and glows for 5 points each)- 10 points Music-5 points Language- 5 points Spectacle (Set, Lighting, Costume/Makeup, Props, Sounds/Special Effects-2 points each)-10 points Closing Paragraph-5 points Points will be deducted if following criteria is not followed: Times New Roman Font Double Spaced 12 Point Font Checked for spelling & grammar Endgame Rehearsal 3Homework:Memorization and Character Analysis due next class!
