Today in class...

On Friday, we engaged in several improvisational activities and acting games; maybe we even discovered a few theatre lessons during the process.  We discussed that the purpose of theatre is to communicate story to the audience.  We learned that the word "drama" in the Ancient Greek means "to do or to act," so there is no drama without action.  We learned that we must be aware of ourselves, our environment and the others around us in order to be active and engaged while performing.
