1st Hour: Greek Tragedy Rehearsal #1
Scripts were due for Modern Day Greek Tragedy. Groups received their scripts and blocked their Show.
3rd Hour: Antigone Quiz/Greek Tragedy Rehearsal #1
Due to technical issues last class, we retook the Antigone Quiz. Scripts were due and printed at the beginning of class for each actor. Groups blocked their show.

Modern Day Greek Tragedy Script Writing
Groups worked on and completed their scripts for their Modern Day Greek Tragedy. Rubrics were handed out for Performance.

3rd Hour: Modern Day Greek Tragedy

Aristotle Elements of Drama/Antigone Review
Today, we learned Aristotle's Elements of Drama. Then, we separated into pairs and were assigned a section of Antigone to summarize and create questions. Attached is a study for review.

Today we completed Antigone and played "Moment Before"
Today, we began reading Antigone.
Greece: The Birth of Theatre Quiz
Students signed up on www.edmodo.com and took a quiz over Greek Theatre.
After the quiz, we created our interactive notebook. We used classtime to begin creating our title page, table of contents and took notes on notebook requirements. Those were needed to shared out their toga worksheets for credit.
Toga Share-out/Oedipus Retelling/Quiz Review
After warmups, we shared out our Toga Designs to class! Each share-out was worth 10 points. The design was to be colored and have 4 images describing yourself.
Groups had 20 minutes to rehearse their Oedipus retelling and we then performed for the class.
We ended class with Trading Card Review! Each student wrote a question and answer on an index card from our Greek Study Guide and we traveled the stage asking/answering questions and trading cards.

There will be a quiz NEXT CLASS (Friday, September 7th) over the Greek Study Guide! The quiz will be online in the form of multiple choice, true & false, and matching! Study Study Study!
