Toga Share-out/Oedipus Retelling/Quiz ReviewAfter warmups, we shared out our Toga Designs to class! Each share-out was worth 10 points. The design was to be colored and have 4 images describing yourself. Groups had 20 minutes to rehearse their Oedipus retelling and we then performed for the class. We ended class with Trading Card Review! Each student wrote a question and answer on an index card from our Greek Study Guide and we traveled the stage asking/answering questions and trading cards. Homework: Quiz Next Class!There will be a quiz NEXT CLASS (Friday, September 7th) over the Greek Study Guide! The quiz will be online in the form of multiple choice, true & false, and matching! Study Study Study! Bring a notebook to class as we will be setting up our interactive notebook after the quiz!
Oedipus Rex Re-creation RehearsalUsing your knowledge of the play Oepidus Rex, work in groups to recreate the story in a short skit. Be sure you have a beginning, middle, and end that hits the major plot points. You will have the entire class to create and rehearse. I will give you 10-15 minutes next class to review. We will perform next class (Wednesday September 11th). We will also share out Toga Worksheet that you will complete as homework.
